Do I need to read the book to understand the Course?
This Course does not require any prior knowledge. If you have already read the book, this Course will help you take the wisdom of Helping People Change further and apply it to your own life.
Does the Course offer exclusive/bonus content beyond the book?
Yes. The Course builds upon the key lessons in the book. Each session includes an interactive practice to help you put these lessons into action, which have been specifically designed for this Course. Beyond the Course, you will also have access to reflective tools, meditations and journaling to provide in-the-moment support.
Do I use this Course on my own or with other people?
You can complete the entire Course on your own, at your own pace. We encourage you to try out some Practices with others to help you develop your relationships and have better conversations - but this is entirely up to you!
Will this Course provide me with professional accreditation?
No. The practical skills you will gain during this course are based on a scientifically validated model called “Intentional Change Theory”. Filled with probing questions and exercises that encourage self-reflection, Helping People Change will forever alter the way all of us think about and practice what we do when we try to help.
Will I be able to interact with Richard, Ellen and Melvin?
We are not currently offering direct contact with the authors or additional live sessions.
